1. What Roamatch Is

Roamatch is a software service that:

• Monitors publicly available volunteer opportunity listings on third-party platforms
• Delivers personalized real-time alerts via Telegram based on your preferences
• Provides AI-powered matching between your traveler profile and available listings

Roamatch is not a travel agency, volunteer placement agency, recruitment service, or party to any agreement between you and any host or volunteer platform. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any listing, host, or opportunity shown through our service.

2. Eligibility

By using Roamatch, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will use the service only for lawful purposes

Use of Roamatch by anyone under 18 is expressly prohibited.

3. Account and Access

Roamatch operates through Telegram. To use our service, you must have a valid Telegram account subject to Telegram's own Terms of Service.

Your Roamatch account is identified by your Telegram User ID. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your Telegram account secure
• All activity that occurs through your Roamatch access
• Ensuring the preferences and information you provide are accurate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

4. Free and Pro Plans

We reserve the right to modify plan features or pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes with at least 14 days' notice.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment provider. By subscribing to Pro, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

• Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through Stripe's customer portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you retain Pro access until the end of that period.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan until payment is resolved.

We never store your full card details. All payment data is handled by Stripe under their own Terms and Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Platforms and Listings

Roamatch collects and displays publicly available listing data from third-party platforms such as Workaway. We make no representations or warranties about:

• The accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing
• The quality, safety, or legitimacy of any host or opportunity
• Whether any listing will still be available when you visit the platform

You are solely responsible for verifying any opportunity before applying, and for complying with all applicable laws, visa requirements, and regulations in your home country and destination.

Roamatch is a discovery and alert tool only. Any interaction with hosts or volunteer platforms happens directly between you and those parties — we are not involved.

7. Acceptable Use

By using Roamatch, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our service or servers
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the service to send unsolicited communications
• Share your account access with others
• Attempt to circumvent plan limitations through technical means

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of Roamatch — including the name, logo, website, and bot interface — are the exclusive property of Roamatch. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Listing data displayed through Roamatch originates from third-party platforms and remains the property of those platforms. We display it under fair use for informational purposes only.

9. No Warranty

Roamatch is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy or completeness of listing data
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Results from using the service

We do not guarantee that you will find a suitable volunteer opportunity through our service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roamatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the service
• Any listing, host, or opportunity accessed through our alerts
• Any interactions with third-party platforms or hosts
• Data loss, interruption of service, or unauthorized access

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roamatch, its founders, and team members from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your interactions with third-party platforms or hosts

12. Privacy

Your use of Roamatch is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time
• Update these Terms at any time

When we update the Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active users via Telegram message at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Roamatch immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will cease immediately
• Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• No refunds will be issued for any remaining subscription period

You may also terminate your use of the service at any time by stopping use of the bot and canceling any active subscription.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Roamatch shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
